Your Personal Brand of Leadership

Page history last edited by Linda.Holroyd@... 2 yrs ago

Knowing yourself and your unique value proposition to any leadership opportunity is absolutely critical particularly for senior executives. When you rise up the ladder to the most senior rungs, you are selling not so much your skills or strategy, but your more your leadership and communication ability.

This month, we will work with senior executives in transition to help them describe and leverage their own personal leadership brand, so they can better position their skills and style to potential partners, supporters and employers. We will specifically cover:

the concept of personal branding: what it is, who needs one, and how you create one.

the importance of differentiation: How does one set oneself apart from the competition?

how to make yourself "attractive" – capable of drawing attention.

It is our hope that everyone in attendance will begin to identify the aspects of your personal/professional brand, and leverage it to their advantage.

Networking for Executives

Every month, following attendee introductions for our Transitions meeting, Linda Holroyd will facilitate a discussion about Networking for Executives. This month's topic will be on Barriers to Effective Networking.
